Enquiry and Quotation Terms
The basis on which Decor Plast reviews enquiries, arranges site visits and prepares quotations.
Website enquiries
Submitting a form asks Decor Plast to review your project. It does not create a contract, guarantee acceptance of the work or reserve a start date. We may ask for more information or arrange a site visit before preparing a quotation.
Estimates and site visits
Initial estimates and suitable site visits are normally offered without charge. We will explain in advance if distance, restricted access, specialist investigation or the scale of a project means a different arrangement is needed.
One-hour written quotation aim
For qualifying standard projects, Decor Plast aims to send a written quotation within approximately one hour after the site visit has finished and all information needed for pricing has been received. The period does not begin when the website form is submitted.
Quotation-time promotion
If an eligible standard quotation is not sent within that one-hour period, a 10% reduction may be applied to the labour element, capped at £100. The offer does not apply where pricing depends on scaffolding, specialist or subcontractor quotations, material investigation, third-party information, concealed conditions or missing customer details. Eligibility must be confirmed in writing before work is booked.
Fixed price and scope
A written quotation is fixed for the work and assumptions it describes and for the validity period shown on it. Programme estimates may change because of drying or curing time, exterior weather, access, site conditions or concealed surface defects. Any requested change or additional work is discussed and agreed before it is carried out.
Photographs and measurements
Photographs and approximate measurements help with the initial review, but they may not be sufficient for a binding quotation. A website acknowledgement does not confirm that a surface, defect or access method has been assessed.
Urgent property defects
Decor Plast does not advertise an emergency decorating service. If there is an active leak, electrical risk, unsafe material or structural concern, contact the appropriate qualified specialist before requesting decorative repairs.
